Small Room Installation, 2017

  

Within the space of this small room hundreds of small sculptural figures were placed. All the figures are similar in shape and general size, however their nylon skins vary in tone. The inner contents of each figure are made up of old, discarded, or unwanted fabric that is cut into small pieces. By hand each figure is filled with these pieces and shaped to a desired form. When photographing mass quantities of these abstract figures, the formation of a crowd becomes visible. An essence of a crowd is the fusion of minds, where individuality becomes absent.
